News:

This course assumes previous introductory courses in ODEs and PDEs (equivalent to MATH 3400 and MATH 4470) and some exposure to the numerical computation courses using MATLAB (equivalent to our MATH 3670 or MATH 4650).

- MATLAB, the software of choice for this class, is available to all UCCS students by following the instructions posted here.

For graduate students enrolled in MATH 5670, please note that this is the first in a sequence of two courses on Scientific Computation, with the second course to be offered Spring 2019, namely MATH 5680/6680 - Sci Comp II.
