I am an Assistant Professor with the Department of Computer Science at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs . My research interests are in the following areas:

Specifically, I focus on the research projects such as genome structure prediction, chromosome and genome features extraction, and the application of machine learning algorithms to biological datasets.

I lead the Oluwadare Lab research group where we develop algorithms, computational tools, and softwares that explains various biological activities and events to increase our understanding about them.

I lead the development of a software app, called EyeCYou, that uses AI to provide the facial description of a person to the visually impaired. Find details here: EyeCYou for the visually impaired
