Summer 2013 (8/7/13-8/13/13)
We visited Jones Beach with Sara on a cool Thursday.
Very few swimmers.
Stayed at the Sheraton Tribeca, room 1515. This is Canal St.
as seen from the room.
Southern Manhattan, including the new WTC 'Freedom Tower', as seen from
the Circle Line cruise ship.

Elaine found tickets to Matilda at the last minute. Traffic was a mess: our cabby
claimed it was a 'Dominican parade'. We barely made it on time.
No kid's trip to the Big Apple is complete without visiting the dinosaurs at the
American Museum of Natural History.
The hotel sent us to a closed restaurant. After walking about 15 blocks
we finally ate at a place around the corner from the hotel. This was the WTC view
from our table.
