Welcome to my page. I am an Associate Professor at the Computer Science (
CS) Department at University of Colorado Colorado Springs (
UCCS).
My main research interest is in security of networked systems.
At UCCS, I teach: Intro to Computer Security (CS 4910),
Applied Cryptography (CS 4920/5920), and Wireless and Embedded Systems Security (CS 5960), and Computational Linear Algebra (CS 2300).
In addition to the courses at UCCS, I offer MOOC courses in
Applied Cryptography at Coursera.
I am also the PI and the Director of the CyberCorps Scholarship for Service (SFS) program at UCCS, the Colorado-Washington Security Scholars Program (
CWSSP).
I received my PhD and Bachelor's degrees
from the Electrical and Computer Engineering (
ECE) department
of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) in 2013 and 2007, respectively.

Before joining UCCS CS, I was a postdoctoral fellow at Advanced Digital Sciences Center
(
ADSC), a UIUC research center at Singapore.
